About Me
Dr Marvin Blake (DPsych, M.Ost, MSc)
I am a Counselling Psychologist and registered Osteopath, working with adults across both physical and psychological health.
Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, an early passion for sport initially drew me towards health, performance and wellbeing - ultimately leading me to pursue a career in osteopathy. Through my clinical practice I became increasingly aware that many of the challenges people faced could not be fully understood through physical health alone. This led me to train as a Counselling Psychologist, which enabled me to better consider the psychological, emotional and social factors that influenced health and wellbeing.
Today, my work is informed by both professions, which gives me a broader understanding of the complex relationship between mind and body and has better equipped me to offer more holistic support. I believe the most effective care begins with understanding the whole person.
